In this blog post, you can see how to properly measure your dog when ordering a made-to measure dog collar to ensure the best fit.
1) If you have a dog collar which fits well, remember which size you like it to be fitted to, take it off and fasten it back to the suitable size. Take a flexible tape measure and wrap it tight around the dog collar's INNER CIRCUMFERENCE. Please provide us the size which you measured as precise as possible - please, don't round it.
(If your current dog collar doesn't fit very well, it's made from a stretchy material or it's difficult to measure, we recommend to rather measure your dog's neck circumference.)
2) You can also measure your dog's neck circumference: Take a tape measure and wrap it around your dog's neck in the place where the collar sits and measure the circumference depending on how tight you like the collar to be. We kindly ask you not to round the measurement.
The measurement taken is preferred in cm, but it can also be in inches.
Please note: As all our leather products are made-to-order for a particular customer, we unluckily can't accept returns if the measurements taken weren't correct. So please ensure yourself that you follow these instructions and measure your dog properly.
